My DH just took me to Hancocks. WOW!!! All I could do for the first half hour was walk around and LOOK. Never saw so much absolutely gorgeous material. We only went to LOOK but came out with a new pattern and all material except the backing. The ladies there were VERY helpful in helping me (I bought fat quarters as suggested by the pattern) in finding material for the borders. If you get a chance to go--just run and don't stop until you get there.

A couple of years ago, when I flew to Phoenix to see my folks.. I went to three quilt shops BEFORE heading to my folks house. I had to buy a new suitcase to take all my purchases home!

So I say Fabric first!

I always seem to need one thing and come out of the store with a bag full.

What is sad is that I live 45 minutes from Paducah and go there 4 or 5 times a year but I have never been in Hancock's. I have got to make a special trip one of these days and check them out,
