I tried to do binding on a car trip but after about a few mins I got sick, dizzy, nauseous, I guess if I get car sick reading and riding in the back seat then I don't know what I was thinking trying to bind.

Can't mix anything with riding. Too busy looking out the window, enjoying the scenery, and helping watch the road.
Prefer the back roads when we can. Most of the Interstate highways all look the same.

I have to have something or I go to sleep. So I embroider the state birds for a quilt. That will be a lot of trip to get it done.

I have made many GFG blocks in the car while on road trips. I love have a sewing project that I can just grab when we go. It makes a boring trip go by a lot faster.
