I tend to be driver too and will still hand embroider if I can. Always took cross-stitch or embroidery when I flew - can't hardly do that today.

Yep! I'm leaving tomorrow morning for a road trip to the North Shore. I LOVE hand quilting in the car. It really passes the time!

My husband and I are getting ready for a road trip in a couple of weeks, and I will most likely bring something to do with my hands, just haven't figured out what yet! I have some strips that I can sew for a jelly roll quilt I guess...

My Grandmother's Flower Garden project goes with me all the time!

Whether it's a car trip / airplane trip / trip to the doctor's office.

It makes the time go by a bit easier.

I get car sick if I read or sew. Besides, someone has to watch the road when my DH is driving. There are times he's sight seeing, and isn't watching the road ahead.
