Thanks for raising this topic. I didn't know it existed, and now I've ordered one on eBay.

It sounds like your handy item slipped into the same black hole that my favorite things keep finding. Sorry - I can't help.

I have one and it is handier that "duct tape" lol. I think I bought mine either at Hobby Lobby or at Hancocks, can't remember, but I think I will order a couple more for my featherweights.

    Hey Peckish,

Like minds. I was just about to post the same idea until I read yours. I use sticky velcro to put the back piece of an empty needle case on my machine and take it off and hold it behind the needle to make it easier for me to see the hole. It is nice to have it so handy.

Neesie, Every time I see the photo your dog, I am charmed all over again. Is he/she a doxie?

Awww, thanks, soozieq2! Yes, she's a mini dachshund (now 10 years old). :-)

Ooh, that's a great idea, too! Luckily I have a needle threader, but I like the idea of velcro even better than double-sided tape. I'd probably get dog hair all over the tape. I find that dang dog hair everywhere. I've even found it in the freezer, and I have NO idea how it gets there.

I ordered several too! The bought ones will be prettier on the machine then ones I could rig up just to save a couple of dollars.
    Got fabric?
