Hanging a Wall Hanging
I have finished the top of a wall hanging for a friend and need to figure out how to make something to use for hanging it before I proceed - press, add the backing and quilt it. I would PREFER not to add a sleeve that requires me to do any hand sewing and it seems there are other methods out there somewhere - I just don't remember what they are or how to do them. The wall hanging is about 18 " wide X 24" Long. (Photo is in wrong direction). Any suggestions ??? Thanks in advance ....

This method works well for mini quilts and no hand-work

If it is small, sewing a folded triangle of fabric into the binding of the two top corners works well. Then you can insert a narrow wooden dowel along the entire top edge, each end hooked inside the triangles, and the dowel can rest on nails or picture frame hooks.
