I'm headed to HF this weekend after finding an online 25% off coupon. Besides the cutting blades and the suction cup holders, what are some of their items that you have found useful for quilting and sewing?

They have this thing that is magnetic and extends..great for picking up pins and other small objects. I'm sure you will find other things there...lol. Have fun!

I found a magnetized dish to hold my pins. I also saw but didn't buy a head light magnifier which would be great for those with vision problems. My greatest find was an ott light bulb for $9.99 which sells for &49.99 at Joann's. I love to poke around in Harbor Freight. Let us know what great things you find.

Check out their plastic storage for screws, nails, etc. Makes great organizers for small fabric squares.

I got a rubber mallet for flattening seams tho I haven't tried it yet, if they are out of the refills of the cutting blades, the cutters themselves are still cheaper then LQS or anywhere else. Get what ever is free!! I had set aside about 7 flyers since we live nowhere near one and opted for the freebie that seemed the most useful, I forget what it was, tho.

I got an awesome deal on a light there, works just like an OTT light, and it was a *ton* cheaper.

I got blades there (HF) about a week ago after everyone was so excited about them but they are thicker and a hair larger than what I usually buy at JoAnn's. I only tried them in one cutter, but didn't like them. Will try another cutter when I have time.
