I want the hard copy paper book. I want to flip thru, mark and copy. Scanning page by page just isn't the same.

I love my kindle & pc, but when it comes to quilting books, I want a hard copy. When I'm looking for inspiration it's much easier for me to thumb through a hard copy book than one on an electronic device.

I have tried magazines as ebook & hate them. I read many ebooks on my iPad all the time & prefer it to books due to
arthritic hands that are painful & difficult to hold a book open. But as others have mentioned, I need hard copy for
    quilting books/patterns.

I love love love my Kindle, I download free books from my library and Amazon all the time at any time of day or night. And yes, I also purchase books. The books stay on my digital account and I can access them regardless of the platform I'm using (pc, Kindle, phone, etc.). I also love audio books; my work commute and chores go by in a flash as I listen to books.

Having said all that, I much prefer to read hard or paper copies of quilt patterns, magazines, and books.

As a little old lady ex-school teacher, I like books... real books,.. paper, print, cover and all. None of those e-books for me! I have checked audio books out from the library and I used to listen to those great books while quilting and that was fun, but reading books on a screen? No thanks!

If i had a color printer that printed accurate colors, I might pick the e-book. But I have never had such a printer, so I vote for the book.

I only buy ebooks now for pleasure reading but for quilting, I want an actual book.

I have a few ebooks but I tend to forget I have them! I love real books so much more. They are treasures you can keep forever.

I have just got rid of 30 years worth of books, a couple of thousand, they were taking up way too much space. I rad on my kindle, but for sewing or quilting books, I like the actual book,

I really like e-books for actual reading and also for dictionaries and commentaries. However, when it comes to things like quilting or recipe books (which both usually involve beautiful pictures), I much prefer having the actual book in my hand!
