Yes, I've ripped out the same mistake twice & after the second time I just walked away from it to pick up on another day. When I start making mistakes like that I know it means I am tired & not concentrating on my work. What a wonderful group of fabrics you found at the tag sale. Happy sewing to you!

Wow, You got a really good deal. Wish you a lot of fun using this fabric. I love all the colors. Some of that is different for you isn't it? Your quilts are going to be beautiful in those colors. I can't wait to see them.

I have ripped things more than twice. On one, I had the first border around the center medallion finished and just couldn't stand it, so ripped it all off and found some different stuff. Much better. Then I had put 1/4 inch lines around some portions of the pattern, and had to rip them, too. It's hard to fit in that extra 1/4 in. when it isn't planned for. Then I had four corner stones around the center. When the entire top was finished, (I thought) I found that one was sideways. By the time I found that, I was all done. I couldn't rip again, even though it was still a flimsy. Most people don't see that one square has the little bow ties going sideways while the other three are up and down. The quilt took a blue ribbon twice.
