Yes. It was a gift from a friend. I liked it when my hands worked better. Now ... no more hand stuff.

The YouTube video was very interesting to watch. I quilt without a hoop and wonder if this little gadget would work for me since she keeps the quilt very loose in the hoop. I've never seen the Aunt Becky before this and I'm thinking it sure would be a relief to my poor, needle stuck, sore, "under finger".

My friend uses it all the time for her hand quilting and does outstanding work. I just googled Aunt Becky quilting tool and lots of information came up. I purchased one about 4 years ago but it is in my "notions" box.

I tried it but just couldn't seem to get the hang of it. I probably didn't use it enough but I got too impatient. Would like to see it done "in person" not just on a video on u-tube.

I've never tried it but I have tried using a pad or thimble on my under finger and I couldn't get the hang of it, I would end up not getting the needle through the back of the quilt.

That's exactly what happened to me when I used Becky!

I've had one for a year and I love it! I'm still not as good as the video, but it seems to make the quilting go faster. It does take ALOT of practice, but once you get the hang of it, the stitches are more even. I do not machine quilt at all. So this was a wonderful find.

The video looked so much easier than the rocking motion, to me. I want that. My wrists and hands get to hurting and my fingers are always stabbed. This tool and thimble would be such a relief.
