I got this picture from some quilting website but failed to tag the site and only saved the picture. It's called oragami. Does anyone recognize it and if so do you know where I could get the pattern?

Anyone seen this pattern?

I am on the search for you. I came across this site that has an origami star and cross pattern.

http://www.quilterscache.com/O/Origa...rossBlock.html

When did you go to the site that had the pattern? If it was recently it will still be in your bowers history.

Take Care,
Mary (stitchengramie)

I saw the one on quilters cache but it's not the same. I had it saved on another computer so I'll go look at that history - thanks.

I have not seen that pattern before. I love it. Good luck in finding it.

First of all, thankyou. When I googled the origami star, I came across a couple of neat pattern sites, one being McCalls. I found the instructions for the star you were looking for. Try: www.origami-instructions.com/8 pointed star I used to do the cranes out of fabric using fabric and just starched the square heavily before I started folding it. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. The history has been deleted on my old PC so I couldn't find where I got this. I'm going to swing by JoAnns and see if I can find an origami quilting book.
