I just tried it out in a table runner, but I'm not finished. I believe you need to quilt with it, because the stabilizer washes out. If you never plan to wash the item (wallhanging?) I suppose that is okay, but I would expect to wash everything, so I'm quilting anyway.

So far I like it, and it's just the right thickness for bags, wallhangings and table items.

And yes, it is partly Bamboo.

I just finished quilting one of my table toppers filled with Fusiboo. The package says 2" but mine is more like 3-4" on diagonals, so I think it should be fine. It's a table topper and will likely go on a coffee table or end table - likely not to be washed too often barring careless spills. Thanks for your input.
