go to fuse box and turn off and on.

Yep, did that not too long ago. I wasn't even using an extension cord. The cord had come unplugged from the machine unbeknownst to me

This happened to dh yesterday with the iron. He was pressing the backing for his wall quilt. He asked "How do you turn on this iron?" I asked, "Did you turn it to 3 or 4?" "Yes and it is plugged in to the power strip and the power strip is plugged into the wall." Ooops, I forgot to tell him I had turned off the power strip since nothing was plugged into it and it was on wasting electricity. lol.

We spend so much money for our machines, wouldn't you think they could turn themselves on instantly when touched?? Maybe in the next generation someone will invent that little extra part!!

Last time that happen to me I was pushing down on the wrong foot pedal. Two machines so close together thought I was losing my mind could not for the life of me figure it out. Two hours later....and several glasses of wine....got down of my knees and checked under the cabinet...sure enough...wrong pedal...did I feel DUMB...just goes to show. Always try the simplest thing FIRST!
