Has This Ever Happened To You and your Sewing Machine

What I find amazing is the number of variations of this problem. Cord unplugged. Power strip not on. Stepping on the foot pedal for another machine sitting next to mine. :-) The possibilities are endless!

I thought my machine "died". I was at a class at the time. Turned out I had dimmed the display all the way down. Since I couldn't see the icons to press "sew" the machine wasn't going to do anything. lol! The dimmer switch (in my Janome) is right by the thread spool so I had accidentally turned it while threading the machine.
I accidentally found out what I did after unplugging and replugging the connections several times.

hit reset button. nothing.grrrrr
go to fuse box and turn off and on.
plug into all holes again.nothing !!
Moral of the story...............
REMEMBER TO MAKE SURE THE
OTHER END IS PLUGGED INTO THE MACHINE.
I think that says it all !!
