Have you made a Warm Wishes quilt with 3 fabrics instead of 4? Did you like it? Do you have a pic of it?

you can make it any size you want. i have seen them with all the strips the same size, and some had 1 strip that was a different width. it is up to you!

Here is mine but I did it with many different floral fabrics.

I made this one to test quilting designs I had digitized for my PC Quilter. It was the quickest bed-size pattern I could think of and I knew my granddaughter's mother would like the colors.

It was so quick to make that I ran out & bought the fabric to make 2 more but other projects caught my attention. I have fabric to make a red/black/white version and a pink/green/yellow version.

Thank you. I'm not thrilled with the border I put on it but it served its purpose.

sewjean I think it works great with the two color strips, especially since they are contrasting colors  Then for the next block will you alternate the color on the strips ?

That was my plan but if I do, each print block will have part red & part black frameing it. would that look ok?

is that all sewn together ? Was just wondering what it looks like if you take the two side pieces and turn them ? to frame the focus fabric , does that make sense ?

Not sewn together. That would make ALL the focus fabric framed with one color. I wasn't sure if they would stand out like being framed in 2 colors. Guess it willl be ok

I used 6 fabrics in mine. I call it "Harvest" because of all the Fall colors.

I think I have decided how to arrange the blocks. here is a pic. Looks orange but it is red. Must be the lighting.

Thanks for all of the ideas!
