Sparky is a doll!! I guess we humans just never have enough help. :)
He is a sweetie - but he is Jack. Sparky was his predecessor. I would NEVER have been able to sew with Sparky anywhere near. He would run off with the fabric and anything else he could lay his paws on.

Well, Jack is pretty cute too!! He looks pretty comfortable. He looks a lot like Sparky!
Same breed. :)

At least it is an "inexpensive" problem to fix!

How could we ever sew without our pets? He looks quite comfortable.

Same problem -- my cat Expo is all over the sewing room and is constantly pulling thread, getting in the way, walking on the computer -- whatever he can do to get attention. Right now he's sitting on top of my sewing machine. Rebel (my 127 pound lab) is lying on the floor of my tiny sewing room. If I move my chair a tiny bit, it will hit him. But I love them both and wouldn't have it any other way.

Make your cat a cat bed and maybe he/she will sleep in it. Your cat just wants to be close to you.

What a "problem" to have. I have a little tortoise kitty that actually wants to wrap her paws around mine (hands) when I am sewing. She has even tried to sew without my hands and that is a little scary.
