The light is a special attachment. I got it online somewhere...$40., I think. I really really like it. I need all the light I can get!! You might be able to find it by googling around.

I guess she's making friends with your lovely purring sewing machine. The warmth of it warms her backside.

Love the pet pics. My dog sometimes comes and puts his head on my knee or sleeps under my sewing table. Some great posts here.

I'm sure he loves snuggling up to your (warm) sewing machine. What a cutie!

I have a fluffy black roadblock in the same place today.

A cat is a cat and that's that! Fortunately, when I am sewing, my Chloe sleeps on another chair at the table. When friends have come over to lay out a top, she is our "quilt inspector."

HaHaHA!! I have an obstacle like that also. His name is Spencer the Cat and he likes to lay on the quilt that I'm trying to machine quilt. What a drag he creates on it!

Cute! I have a similar problem when I'm trying to read this board. I sit on the couch with my laptop and my 60-lb. Boxer "Duke" sits as close to me as he can get and when he's had enough of me looking at the computer he lays his head over on the keyboard as if to say "That's enough." Pay attention to me now. LOL

Doesn't he know this quilt is for him? (It is...)

This is the first time he has selected this very spot to spend the afternoon in. I hope he doesn't mind me quilting, because I have stalled long enough and this binding must go on now. :)
"Mmmmmmmm - S-i-g-h - Yawn, Ahhhhhh, this is where Mommy likes to be so I like it too. Wonder why she keeps poking me with that big soft thing! It's nice and soft and comfy, hope it's for me" Sigh

My Bazil has chosen my ironing space to sleep now. Love them, but they can be a handicap in the progress of things. Couldn't do without them though.
