Heading to Asheville NC
#1
I will be heading to Asheville NC the first of next month and was wondering where a good quilting store will be found. I will be in the I240/I26/Hwy74/Hwy 19 area.
Thank you for any help.

I went to Asheville Cotton Company last week. They have a huge selection but I didn't see any bargains. Typical LQS prices. Beautiful fabric. Their address is 1378 Hendersonville Rd # B, Asheville, NC 28803-1900

When I went to Ashville a couple of years back I stopped at 2 places.
www.fabrics4you.com
I am pretty sure this is the one. It had all kinds of fabric and I got some on sale.
The other was really pricy but I liked seeing fabrics I wouldn't normally see and I bought some silk fat quarters there.

I loved Asheville. If you get a chance check out the Woolworths Walk.

There is a great place near Asheville on I-40 in Swannanoa. It is called Carolina Fabric Outlet, google it, because it has recently moved.
Also there is a place in Fletcher, NC (I-26) little south of Asheville, called Fabric & Foam (something like that, again google it).
Both are great places. Oh, just remembered, there is a nice little quilt shop in Black Mountain, NC, across from Depot.

Carolina Fabric Outlet, that was the store I used to go to all the time!!! I have been trying to remember what that place was called. When we were stationed in Missouri we ALWAYS stopped there on the way home in NC. I loved that place!
Since they moved are they still right off the highway?
