Missouri Star Quilt Co has a quilt called Boo 4 Patch Frenzy. With all the different fabrics you have, this might work out perfectly for you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i__0UfjaEng

thanks for both. I always laugh at Jenny using her cutting mat measurements to cut. i use my ruler. but Eleanor Burns used her mat too I think. I use my mat once in awhile. maybe will do it more often!

Personally I think a ruler is more accurate, but she seems to make everything work out, so who am I to say? LOL!

Check your mat with one of your rulers - check it both ways to make sure that the grid is "even."

If it measures the same and the lines on your mat are thin - why not use it?
