    For years I just used scissors and a pattern. My daughter finally took me in hand and introduced me to rotary cutter, cutting board and clear ruler. They make cutting a lot faster and more accurate. I like complicated patterns, so they come out less wonky now than they did before.

    You never can have too many of different size rulers. Keeping track of them is my problem.
