Default Help Blades for quilt edging?

Should have taken a pic when I had the chance. Saw a really cute edging, instead of scallops or prairie points it was free hanging blades. Does anyone have a picture to share? I'd like to add it to this quilt top. I've already added HST border in dark, I want to alternate the yellow and dark blades around the edge, hanging off about 3 inches staggering them like a wave. Thanks for not laughing and your suggestions are most welcome. I have really loved working with this Laurel Burch fabric. It the finest quility I have ever had to sew. A great Craigs list buy.

ps also my very first original to me design!!!

Never have seen or heard of this before. Sorry. Very pretty quilt using Burch's fabric.

I don't know, but I really like your quilt. Looks so hard to make. But I love it and the colors etc.

Not sure I'm understanding what you're describing, but a piano key border popped in my brain, with the keys being different lengths. But then I also thought of doing it like with turned rectangles of different lengths, then added to the quilt kindof like you'd add prairie points. IDK, but it sounds intriguing. Love you're quilt. It's very cheerful ;0).

Oh, okay. So they are free hanging and dangle. Sounds cool. That would totally go with the cat theme on the quilt. Would they go on all sides of the quilt or just one side? Cat toys for the fur babies, how very original! Kudos. Post pictures when you finish. I can'T wait to see your awesome results.

Trying to figure out what shape blades are. Knife blades? Saw blades? Can you sort of sketch a picture?
