I'd do a 2 1/2" wide purple border and then bind it in a stripe cut on the diagonal. If you don't do a solid before binding or border you are going to have a lot of color bleeding visually if you want a striped binding. If you want a wider border, I'd do a narrow strip of purple first.

I also vote for no border, if you do add one please post a photo. I can't envision anything else added to your top.

well your binding can work as a border if you use a solid. If you want a wider border, I like the cream color idea and then a striped binding. but audition first to see what you like, I really like this quilt a lot!

You do not need a border. But if you realy want one the color that jumps out to me is the medium pink. A solid color of course with perhaps one of the darker colors as a narrow inner border. Like you use of stripes. Interesting and unique.

It looks great as is, just use a solid for binding.

You certainly can add a border, however, I think it looks great without one. Love your fabrics, and it's a beautiful quilt.

I lie it without a border, but a solid in any of the colors would work

I agree. Your quilt is very colorful and white would make a nice frame for it.

If you want to set it off with a border I would chose a small 1 1/2 inch border of the dark color in the stripes, looks like a brown, then I would chose any of the other colors for a second border. just mho. but it does look alright with no border. you could just bind it in any of the colors in the quilt
