    While I like the pieced border best, I really like a quilt with borders that include fabric that's already in the quilt.

    I like this option. if you don't like the idea of the cream in between what about making the cream like a piping? just to break up the 2 colours a little bit.

    How about the gold/yellow color? Small strip when I look at the picture my eyes go to that color. To me the wide rust color makes just the rust color stand out and washes out the rest of the pretty colors in the quilt. Just my opion, and novice at that.
