Many of the machines today have larger hoops, my baby is just that LOL That size would fit in a larger hoop :D:D:D

don't forget to get permission to use this logo it may have a copyright on it and not allowed to be duplicated?
you could make a quilt using those colors and also use the same pattern as the pink ribbon but use your designated colors

Not trying to poopoo your idea I think it is great juist waNT YOU TO BE ABLE TO USE AND MAKE $$ ON IT.

Just a thought !!!! :-D :-D

Thank you bebe! I did talk to the IHRF to see if I could "mimick" the logo in a quilt. They are supposed to let me know. If I can't use it for raffling purposes would I still be able to make something for myself with it?

Hi Sam,
I am sure I could but I think having it appliqued and embroidered would bring more as far as a raffle goes. Thank you for the suggestion though!

most home sewing machines are limited to a 5x7 hoop. a few higher end machines have larger hoops or you could purchase after market hoops that can expand the embroidery area.

here is a link to a lady that does custom quilt labels.

i don't think she'll care if you want to use it as a quilt label or as a quilt block. the only limitation with her will be the size hoops she has available.

I now have a shunt in my spine to help regulate fluid levels.
My daughter has an MRI tomorrow to see if she is afflicted with this problem as well. I am hoping she does not.
I digress..my reason for this post is to see if someone could help me. I would love to make a quilt that I could raffle off to help the research efforts to find the cause and cure for this condition. I wanted to make a center block of about 24" finished for the middle of the quilt with the awareness symbol-however I do not applique nor do I embroider. My question to you all is there anyone here who could or would be willing to applique the center with the words Intracranial Hypertension embroidered on the outer side? I do not nead the head that is in the attached picture just the ribbon and the outer circle with the words. I would supply all of the fabric and the thread for the embroidery of the words as well. I would be willing to either pay someone to do this or to trade out material or something.
I hope I am not out of line asking it is just something I feel I need to do. There are not enough people afflicted with this condition (or properly diagnosed) for them to actually get any kind of governmental funding to research it.
Thank you all for your time!
Hugs
April

I might be able to help out but it would hand embrodered and appliqued

What about a quilt with the colors in the logo?
That would be beautiful and might bring about more money in a raffle as it is not marked. Then you could do a label for the back describing it.
