Default Help! I need Curses!

Back in ancient history in both Greece and Rome archaeologists have found repositories of clay and metal tablets in certain wells. Apparently you would go to the temple, pay money and the person in charge would take your curse and write it on a tablet. You would throw it in the cursing well and voilá your curse would come true vanquishing your enemy.

Some of them are quite nasty let me tell you. But I thought it would be fun to make a quilter's curses quilt. They should be amusing or expressions of frustration. Here is what I have so far and you all can probably do much better.....

1. May Hecate foul the warp and weft of her fabric so it is never on the straight of grain.

2. May Marian find strange Puckers in her pieced squares.

3. May Lynn always have an iron that is just short of hot enough.

I am going to love seeing what you come up with and thanks in advance.

May *insert name here* never achieve the perfect scant quarter inch seam.

Maybe a blessings one , too?

May your points always be ponty

May your joins be flat

May you have enoigh fabric - or able to get more

May your sewing machine behave

May your thread never jsm

May you only cut what is intended with your rotary cutter cutter

May you always find your scissors, cell phon, etc.

May you never burn yourself while pressing/ironing

May you aleays be able to see well enough to sew

May you always be physically and mentally able to sew

May your backing always be smooth

May your communications with others involved in your quultmaking be clear

May your customers (if any) be considerate, understanding, and pay. promptly and well.

May the instructions always be correct.

Goodness- I did get on a roll, here .

It is an interesting idea, though.

I, too, am very reluctant to put anyone's name down (though there are several on the tip of my tongue) because of backlash. I know that anytime I think of calling in sick just to play hooky from work, I wake up that morning sick and don't go anywhere or do anything but drink hot tea with honey. I do, however, like the blessings, so will contribute this: May your rotary blade never dull.
