Hello and welcome from Indiana. I don't know about the Elnas but offer a suggestion. Go to the Janome dealer and try out one of their machines. I love my 6600P and 750. The 750 is a small 12 lb machine that I take to classes and retreats. The 6600P is a great quilting machine with a 9" throat. I love working on it. It is not quiet when using the intergrated walking foot.
