I have 2 jelly rolls, and two yards, of two different (total of 4 yards) coordinating fabrics. I need to make a quilt out of it. I have thought of making framed squares, using the yardage as the inner squares, and the jelly rolls as the frames, but have no idea what that design would be called. If I can't find anything else, I could make a 'warm wishes', but it is really not what I want. Any ideas?

The Missouri Star Quilt Co has several patterns and videos of quick jelly roll quilts on their website that you could try. Often their patterns are free! Check their blog too. You might find some good ideas there too.

You might get more ideas should you post pictures of the jelly rolls and the yardage. Not knowing what the fabric is, it's really next thing to impossible to make realistic suggestions that might be appropriate.

Bento Box maybe? Chained Squares is a thought, also. It would depend on the fabric for me to really pick a pattern, though. A good combination of lights & darks is necessary for Bento Box. Warm Wishes would depend on the focus fabric you're using. Post the fabric if you can and that should really get the creative ideas flying!

Here are the fabrics. I bought the 'jelly rolls' at Walmart, and each of the three have 24 strips cut 2.5", 3 of each of 8 fabrics, total of 72 strips, 2.5"x WOF, plus I bought two yards each of two complementary fabrics. There are two views, because I was trying to get the colors right. These are pretty close.
