I have been a personal fan of Fons and Porter of late, especially because of delivery subscription also includes access to past digital issues....good for a "search and find".........

I'm not very fond of many right now - I just let my subscriptions lapse for Quilters Newsletter and Fons and Porter.

For eye candy I like Machine Quilting Unlimited, and the American Quilters Society magazine, American Quilter. They don't have patterns, so these won't do if that's what you're looking for.

I am letting all of mine expire instead of renewing them. I just have so many. My favorite is probably Fons and Porter, then Quilt Magazine.

I like Quilt Trends. All of the rest I have let lapse.

I also have let all my subscriptions expire. I have saved all of my old magazines and look through them for ideas. I am old enough that each time I look at the old magazines I have forgotten what was in them, and it is like looking at a brand new issue!

I do like American Patchwork and Quilting best though.

My favorite place to get new magazines now is at thrift stores and garage sales!

I have just bought the first issue of Quilty, I believe it is a quarterly magazine by fons and porter and I really like it. I am not very fond of other magazines because I can rarely find one that speaks to me. Go to the local bookstore and flip through a few of them and see which one suits your style most.

I love American Patchwork and Quilting and also Quilter's World. I too let all my subscriptions lapse as I found that all I did was look thru them and then put them on a shelf! But, I am considering starting Quilter's World again. I'm going to ask for it for my birthday.

Quilters Newsletter, Machine Quilting Unlimited, and American Quilter (the AQS magazine) are the only ones I take anymore. However, those are not the magazines to take if you want to get patterns in your magazine. I am boycotting F&P because of their atrocious marketing practices.
