Okay, this is something you want to do... right... stop, breathe, attack .... one step at a time.... prepare fabric, cut fabric, sew fabric.... one step at a time. Just think of the gorgeous quilt you have at the end. You can do it... get moving!

Just think of the joy your niece will have when she gets her butterfly quilt. I have seen a butterfly quilt and they are so cute. You will have to post pictures when you are done. I want to do one in the shape of a penguin because that is what my granddaughter likes. Get'er Done!

If your project seems overwhelming, take baby steps. Make small goals. Even if it's just one step for each day. At some point you will become engrossed in the quilt and before you know it, you'll have worked through a meal time! Good luck!

Check out eQuilter today. I understand that you have the fabric for your quilt but she has some beautiful butterfly fabric.

I am always in deep with on-line fabric shops. I see, I want, need; if I don't see, I'm okay.

Like everyone else says, just start. One tiny step will get you sucked in & you're off! Good luck & post pics!

Its gotta be the Butterflies-my niece picked out a piece of butterfly fab in my stash and after laying on the cutting table these last 12 days its still uncut- So I'm blaming the fabric.

Put on some music that you like, read the pattern directions one more time and then start. Good luck. You can do it.
