I visualize myself working and then I challenge myself to to work for just 15 minutes. I then find I've done more than I thought I'd accomplish. There is so much that I would have liked to have done, but I procrastinate too.

If there is a quilt shop in town or a sewing center that lets people come in and sew it can be encouraging to talk to others while you work. I do this sometimes when I need encouragement. I don't sew very much because I talk a lot, but it gets me started.

Is there something we can help you with to get you started? Are the directions clear?

I didn't get the pictures posted yesterday. DH and I are working on an addition and that took up a lot of time. Anyway, here are some pictures of what I have done so far. The first two are the blocks I finished a couple of years ago. The third block is what I have done since you all encouraged me to get going again.

The butterfly is actually 4 blocks that measure 20"x20" when sewn together. I plan to sash with the green butterfly fabric I found awhile ago. I'm thinking black squares where the sashing meets. What do you think? Any other suggestions? This will be a lap quilt so 4 butterflies should be enough.

This block was done awhile back.

Another block I had already finished

This is the block I just couldn't get started.

In my humble opinion I would stick to the white background. Maybe this is why you stalled. This will be a darling quilt when completed. Post it when your done okay because this is a pattern I have never seen before.
