Default help please??

Does anyone have a Bailey quilting machine? I am having trouble with the bobbin area and can't get it to work. I have retreaded it and followed the directions to put the shuttle and all back into place but the needle keeps jamming and then bends or breaks. I am at the point of throwing it out the window but really want to get it to work if possible. I tried calling the phone number that came with the machine but no answer. If you have this machine and have any suggestions, please let me know.? Thanks

I don't have a Bailey Quilting Machine, but I have seen the Bailey home Quilter Face Book Group Maybe they can help.

I did a search for Bailey quilting machine and found a few websites. There were some video's on how to thread and lubricate the machine. So do a search and you may find the info you need. I am not sure about what Bailey you have or where you got it or how old it is. There apparently was a Bailey made in the 1930's to that was connected somehow to Singers.

My Bailey is the Bailey17 and I got it about 4 years ago, I bought it from the website and went online for it. However my husband died and I had a lot going on and now I am trying to use it. I ran it a couple of times a year or so ago, but haven't quilted with it. I watched all the videos they had and they don't have any current info and maybe they aren't in business any longer. I did see a video on bobbin problems and I am going to try some of the suggestions they gave and maybe that will do it. It is just so frustrating !

I don't have a longarm, but I would start by cleaning out the bobbin area. Apparently, it collects a lot of lint and should be cleaned with every bobbin change.

Stick to it! Persistence is the key to success! You can do it!

It sounds like your bobbin shuttle is not in correctly.
As make sure your needle is inserted all the way in.
