Unhappy Help! Quilt is on frame .....but......

Oh boy, I thought I had a large enough back. Quilting is almost done, down to the last row. I remove the pins (quilt is on a longarm frame) ready to stitch the top to the batting and back-------------the back is shorter than the top. Now what do I do?

I feel your pain. This happened to me once. I had to take the quilt off, add fabric and put it back on.

No big deal, we've all done it. This video shows a neat way to fix the problem without taking the quilt off the machine.

    Great idea.

I've always measured the tops and backs as I have never trusted my customers measurements. Lol

Looks easy on a small piece good luck on a full quilt. I learn something new every day.

Thanks, Dunster! I'm bookmarking that tutorial. This hasn't happened to me yet, but I know it's just a matter of time!
