My hubby's Grandmother pieced all of her great-grandchildren quilts before she died. Two of the four I received to quilt for my children were polyester. I hand quilted one over the winter.......the next will be tied, most definitely. The seams are impossible to quilt thru... my fingers were cracked and bleeding before I finished. Never again!

Thank all of you so much! Your reply posts were so helpful.
I believe now I'll just refrain from even starting these
two tops that this dear lady has brought me. Maybe tieing
them would be a better choice. I'll offer to help her.
Thanks.
