I like the idea of using all of the colors in the quilt to make a piano key border, then put on the dark blue fabric as binding.
If you choose to keep it without a border, it is totally a complete quilt....I just like things to be a little bit more embellished. Be sure to tell us what you decide to do.

Great as is, but if you want it larger just add a pieced border and dark blue binding.

SWEET! I'd leave it alone. Doesn't need borders.

I would put a border of the purple and black check that you have in the bottom LH corner lighthouse (or something close to it). I like the whimsy and colours of your quilt.

A thin boarder of cream fabric will really make it POP.

Another border would frame it so nicely. Looks really great. :

I seem to be following the crowd today, although I am a few days late. Quilt is fab-tab-u-lous and I think I would really apreciate it if you sent it soooon? LOL all kidding aside. I agree if size doesn't matter I would just add a dark blue binding. Like a piece of art in a picture frame. What are you using for the back? is it incorporatible.. can you use that? I really like the quilt. :hunf:

I'd leave it as it is, doesn't need a border. Beautiful!

I might border it with the lt blue batik - if you can - or do a multi-color pieced border since your sashing is one color. Or just bind with a colorful binding. Either way it's great :)

I love it! It is pretty as is or like someone said you might add a border the color of the sky. If you want to bring out the oranges or greens in the quilt you could also do something with them to add color. It depends if you want the blue to be dominant. Let the size that you want it to be guide you.

Leave it alone. It is gorgeous without an x-tra border.

love love love those squiggly lighthouses. I think that a binding in a multicolored stripe would look great. No other boarder needed
