Default Help with walking foot for Bernina 1130

I have the 006 330 70 00 walking foot for my Bernina 1130. I tried to use it this past Saturday and the fork moves freely and the springs are in place in the appropriate spots, and the little rubber (?) feet slide forward and backward when I move them with my finger. However, when I start to sew, the rubber feet do not come forward again after they go back after the first scoot. The fabric moves forward very slowly but not consistently and not smooth or straight. The fork is correctly hooked around the needle bar. I have no idea why the rubber feet are not participating in the walking foot dance. Any suggestions or answers?

It might be a problem inside the walking foot . Do the feet move back into place on their own or do you need to push them with your finger?

Are you sure you got the the guide on the right hooked over the the screw that sticks our from the post your needle goes into? It can be a tricky maneuver to get everything in the right place at the same time.. it takes me several tries every time I go to use it. And I use it frequently on my 880 Plus.
