Here are a couple pictures of quilts my sister and I made for our great niece and nephew.
Our great niece didn't want us to cut her dad's ties, so we appliqued them in fans from opposing corners of the quilt top. The other quilt is made from some of their dad's shirts and pants. We used pockets, cuffs and shirt fronts to make some of the blocks and even sewed some of the labels onto other blocks.
