They have never let you use a 40% coupon on any item that was on sale. It's only on a regular price item.

Hobby lobby her in wichita, Ks writes the ticket at regular price and then discounts it at 40% off, saving you 10% more than sale price.

I have been told that they bump the price up to the regular price and then take off the 40%. I haven't been there for a few months and wasn't aware of the change.

Yes this! When the clerk puts down the yardage ask her/him to put down the non sales price.

We love Hobby Lobby, you can use the 40% off coupon once a day per store everyday of the week. If you have the Hobby Lobby app on your phone you can also use it the same way. My wife and I both have the apps on our phones and buy large quantities of yardage. We each go through the line and both get 40% off....there are 4 Hobby Lobby's relatively close in our area and if we need more than 2 different choices we go to another store, we have also been known to take our purchases to the car only to return and go through a different checkout with another choice. BTW it was an employee that suggested we make our purchase using the 40% and how to ask the attendant to write it up at full price....It has always worked at our Hobby Lobby's...hope anyone that doesn't get the additional 10% off, asks the attendant to write it at full price on the ticket so they can also enjoy the savings !!!

Sounds like they're doing the same as Michaels. They quit honoring coupons for books. I used to buy a lot of books there but haven't bought one ever since they quit letting people use coupons for them.

I love to shop Hobby Lobby and love their 100% cotton. I have used the 40% off coupon on batting also.
I Just ask them to charge me regular price then I use the coupon when I pay.

I am in total agreement. It shouldn't be on sale if it is already 30% off everyday....
