Our Hobby Lobby doesn't have a wide selection of fabrics, but the quality is definitely superior to JoAnn. I often find unique colors there that I don't find elsewhere.

I think you will like shopping at Hobby Lobby. They have some fabrics similar to JoAnn's, but they also have a lot that is different. As was suggested, feel the fabric. My HL and J's is a 30 mile drive for me and I can find a lot that I like.

Their quality isn't as good as JoAnn's, but they have different suppliers, so you always find something you can't get at J/A's. Their fabric is also more expensive.

They're not open on Sundays anywhere. It's one of their founding principles to allow their employees to have Sunday off as a day of worship or family time. Nearly all of the music they play is Christian (usually instrumental hymns) and they have a great Christian merchandise selection throughout their store (so Christian themed stamps, Christmas has lots of nativities, not just Santa and snowmen, Easter has lots of crosses, not just bunnies and eggs, VBS kits, Noah's ark inspired stuff, Christian themed wall art, etc).

They normally have a coupon on the website that you can print out. You can use one a day. If you have a data enabled phone, you can also use your phone to show the coupon in the checkout line instead of having a paper copy.

Hey Jacquie in OK, do you know when that might start? I have a Hobby Lobby right by my house so I want to mark my calendar if you happen to know. Thanks !!

Hobby Lobby is my fave place to shop. The quality isn't quite as good as a real quilt shop, but it's close and so much better than Joann's. Their calicos are always 30% off and they do have 40% coupons online after two or three weeks. If you look good, you will also find a name brand or two. I've used their fabrics for years and have never been disappointed. My DD loves their seasonal home decor stuff; goes cheaper & cheaper after the holiday, if you're not picky.
