I think you should take out a patten on that. It would sell like hotcakes. Very creative......

When you store your rulers in pouches, does the weight of the ruler cause them to bend? I store mine so they hang from the hole in them.
interested to know if a tote does not damage them.

I store my smaller rulers in them and they are just fine. My 6 X 24 inch rulers I store elsewhere.

I store all of my rulers flat or on edge in a ruler holder. I was concerned that if they weren't properly supported along their length (as in the ruler holder, mine is made by my husband and has deeper grooves cut in them, than store bought ones), they would get curves in them and not be flat anymore. The ones I don't use often, are stored flat in totes on a shelf.

Looks great. Thinking about making me one. I don't have a cutting mat but would put in for a large one. Just in case. Went to the Senior Center once and received several pieces of fabric AND some plastic -- thick plastic pattern pieces. Apparently someone had a family member that passed and they brought all her supplies to the center to be taken as desired. This is one thing I had never thought of having cut out of thick plastic--about 1/4-inch thick--but I'm thinking about doing it for the patterns that I use repeatedly.
Will be making a seperate pocket for those as the corners are a bit sharp and I don;t want it to cut thru the pocket.
