Hi all, I'm so excited over this pocket holder I just finished making for my sewing desk. It holds my cutting mat and my rulers. I do most of my smaller cutting on the end of my sewing desk, and often when sewing, the ruler and mat are in my way. I'm always moving them to the floor, the shelf, the desk and back and forth.
Now I have this handy holder right on the end of my desk for everything I need. I just LOVE it!! I made it up as I went along so don't have a pattern to name. A mix of fabrics used. If you want to know about any particular one, I'll try to find it for you.

here is where I do most of my cutting

Custom sized slots so they don't slide all over the place.
    Brilliant!
    And very colorful.

What's keeping it hanging on the side of the desk? Velcro?

I didn't have any self-stick velcro so I used double sided tape to adhere the velcro
