It isn't true that ALL their fabrics are 30 percent off. The quilting cottons are, but they carry a lot of other fabric too. I bought some flannel yardage that wasn't discounted at all.

I keep writing to them and ask them to open a store in the Raleigh area. Our closest one is about 50 miles. Online shopping maybe? I'm more of a touchy-feely kind of girl, though. Road trip??

I have never purchased a bad piece of fabric at Hobby Lobby and I greatly respect the fact that they are true to their beliefs. I love going there.

I miss Hobby Lobby a whole bunch since I left CO. No HL's here in WV, at least, not that I have heard of. I had to drive 80 miles to get to the one in Grand Jct., but it was worth it and my son and DIL lived there, so it was a great trip. I would spend hours at Hobby Lobby.

That doesn't work at all the stores. Ours doesn't allow that. I tried that and they said, "No, sorry." I just go with the flow. They have some very nice Christmas fabric in now. I wanted a Christmas fabric panel, but it was sold out. I kept going back and finally, they took my name and told me I could have the finished sample if they didn't get any more of that fabric. So! The finished panel is now mine and I bought it finished for way, way less than the materials would have cost. HL is my first go to for fabric. Plus I'm near there about once a week. :-) Happy dance for me!

And our Joanne's doesn't discount magazines anymore with the coupon.

BTW, the coupon is issued weekly, but can be used every day if you go that often.
That doesn't always happen! It depends on the store. There are three of them in my area, and only one store will give you the regular price in order to get the 40% discount. Also, I'm thinking they won't take other stores' coupons.

I enjoy going there and the fabric is great. The one thing I wanted to do was take the time to walk thru the entire store!! There is so much to see. So my daughter and I made a day of it, and enjoyed ourselves very much. Very interesting store. The only thing I do not care for is the notions section is not as huge as most. But other than that everything is fantastic.
