I am constantly receiving those soft sided cloth bags that are supposed to replace the disposable plastic ones. I gather all my supplies for a project in those bags and hang them on my project pole. This has helped me stay organized. I can add to the project bag as I find what I need. I have three WIP right now 1) blue and yellow Provence style color quilt, 2) animals in the jungle quilt (embellishments), 3) fall batik colors for DD quilt. I keep the pattern, fabric, threads, and embellishments all in that bag and ready to quilt.

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!! I spent last night looking for the VERY SAME PATTERN. How can that be that here I am reading about you doing the same exact thing? Do you think that is anything like deja-vu? ( Don't know how to spell it) I hope you find yours as soon as I do. The thing is, I re-arranged my sewing room just a couple weeks ago and it WAS right there on the top of one of my bookcases. I know your pain. Someday, when I'm looking for something else, I will find it.

My hushband and I go to a lot of auctions and I seem to have accumilated a lot of 3 ring binders.I purchase the clear plastic sleeves that go in the binders and put my patterns in there. They are easy to find anytime I want them. That's the end of my organizing.I can't find anything else.
