    Great tumbling block and by all means use the train fabric.

    Your quilt is adorable! I would go with the train fabric, if you have enough. If not I would use black, or one of the other fabrics in the quilt.

    Thanks for all of the advice! I do have enough of the train fabric, basted it this morning, and I'm quilting it now. :D I'm really excited to see how it turns out!

    Your quilt is great Babies are so drawn to bright colors It is so vivid I can just imagine those tiny perfect hands trying to pick up the blocks, Go for the bright backing why put a boring back on such a great quilt?
