    I love invisible thread. Good lighting is a must, but I also pull more thread before I snip so I don't have to reatrhead often..a little thread waste but worth not loosing that thread and reathreading.

    My one and only experience with invisible thread was a nightmare. I honestly wasn't pleased enough with the results to do it again

    It's like a spider web. My mom uses it for everything. I absolutely loathe it. I avoid it at all costs.

    When ever I do black on black I have a white chalk pencil that put a fine line around the area that I will be sewing. I thought I would loose my mind and eyesight till I started doing the chalk thing. Outline the applique with the chalk then put it on the fabric.
