Rating myself as a piecer is a difficult task. I think it depends on the block I am trying to piece. Just finished some 18" blocks and everyone turned out perfect. All the poings were where they need to be and not cut off. Another time and different blocks were not so perfect. So some days I am a beginner and some days intermediate.

I love all aspects of quilting (except PPing). Wouldn't rate myself, but I'm happy (satisfied) with what I do.

I have been quilting for many years now and hope than I am at the intermediate range. I really don't like to rate my self or others.

I am totally a newbie! Its funny on here I am so amazed by the work. I feel like my stuff is so basic. But when I show other people what I normally think of basic - they are amazed.

I think we are hard on ourselves becuase we spend time surronded by ohter who also do what we do. In most cases I bet the people in our lives (other than our great quilt board life) think we are more amazing than we realize :)

I consider myself a confident beginner and I may never get past that. I like learning new techniques and as long as my friends and family keep on loving what I do that is okay with me.

I think I am fairly ok until I see all these other quilters. Then I consider myself very poor.
