I went down to my basement to sew today and got side tracked. There was a bad smell. Then I noticed water on the floor. The sump pump was running over time. We had so much rain this morning the storm sewers were backing up.... It did quit and I do have a mess. So I took pictures of some of my machines and put them on the vintage pictures page 6. http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-130994-1.htm

I go to my LQS for open sew sessions. The other ladies & guys are all busy so it is easy to get a project going and there is help if a problem comes up. We have a great time, and then I want to spend a couple hours a day on it so I have progress to show at the next open sew. This is a great motivator for me. PS, my LQS is a 35 minute drive from my house.

Our summers are too short so I don't do as much quilting or sewing. I want to be outside as much as I can be. Our winters are so long that it isn't hard to stay motivated to sew!! It's either sew or go more nuttier than I already am!!!
