Oh, well, I'm only about 2 months late reading some of these posts, but what the hey!

The farthest I've traveled for fabric is Bozeman, MT, once a year, and last year I got to a couple of shops in Great Falls, MT, thanks to my cousin! Hope to do so again this coming summer!

Quilts and calicoes is a nice shop, at one time there were two, one in Exeter and one in Windsor. I have been there before, too. The answer to your question I have gone on five hour bus rides to do quilt shopping and loved it. Oh yes I would go quite a ways away from here to quilt/fabric shop. Love it.

And sadly, now Exeter is going to disappear too!
