I have a class 15 singer treadle, a 66 in a cabinet, a hand crank, a featherweight, an Elnita, my original Singer 327 that I bought new, a 401, and a Brother XR 58. I love the Brother XR 58 best of all. Right now I have the 401 set up for piecing and the Brother set up for FMQ. I have learned through this board to service the vintage machines and the Brother has never given me a lick of trouble in its 10+ years. I do clean and oil it. I hope I don't hex it!!

3 total, but only use 2 my brother dreamy too big to lug, and my brother SQ-9050 for travel/class. Love them both. I also have a mechanical brother XL-3500i which will be my daughters machine, don't use it anymore due to no extra room

I have three sewing machines and one serger. I use my Janome, my Kenmore and the Serger. The Singer is in an exquisite cabinet and although the machine sews like a dream, I don't want to risk scratching the cabinet. froggyintexas

I have Singer 201 (Grandma's that I learned to sew on), Pfaff 1222SE, Pfaff 1222E and 1222 (in Alberta), Janome 4800, Singer 99 (love it) and FWs 221 & 2 - 222's. Also just picked up a turquoise Singer 237 or 238 (I forget) but there is something wrong which requires a trip to the repair shop. That one will be donated to 4-H in the county. I supplied 7 machines to a 4-H sewing club I led this spring. Funny thing - the kids had no problem with the black Singers. It kept me busy keeping the machines threaded as this was the first time the members had ever sewn. Told them next projec t will include sewing machine care and handling.

I have 10 in my living room and kitchen, not all are visible. I won't even count the machines in my bedrooms.

We have three modern Pfaffs, a Pfaff 130, a turquoise 15 clone (Compac), a black 15 clone (Majestic), another black 15 clone (Montgomery Ward), and the Singers include a 221, a 185, a 27 (I believe), and a 503a. I have pieced quilts on the turquoise clone and the 503a. The 130 and 185 both need a trip to the OSMG. The Majestic and Monkey Ward machines will be sold off. The 27 is waiting to go into a treadle cabinet. The 221 is in line to be used for a quilt soon. I can't seem to get it together enough to organize our sewing room so that the machines are in the correct cabinets and accessible. When that gets done I think there will be more rotation of the machines.

I'm not a collector either, but I have four sewing machines. I use three of them all the time. A Pfaff QE 4.0 for piecing and quilting, a Singer 401A for piecing, a Janome DC 1050 for classes and travel. I also have a treadle Singer 15-96, but haven't learned to treadle very well. I would love to have a sweet 16, but I just don't quilt enough to justify the expense. I enjoy hearing about your machines and how you use them.

I have 8 machines and use them all. I have a Bernina 830 and a 350, 3 black featherweights, a 301 BOW and a black 301 and 1 serger (which I don't use alot just once in a great while). I also have the card table for one of my featherweights it is in pretty good shape for how old it is.

I have a (new) 830 Bernina I use all the time. Also have a 350 Bernina that the kids use and I use as a backup machine for classes and when the big machine is getting updated. I also have the Singer I learned to sew on 55 years ago and an old treadle that was my husband's grandmothers. There are 3 more treadles hiding in another house on the property but haven't looked at them in years. When I first saw this question I thought I only had one machine. Oops -- also have a serger.
