My two grand daughters are 23 and 25 1/2 and they still have the quilts that I made them when their were 7 years and 8 1/2... I have two other grand daughters from my son's marriage and she had the two girls. I now have 2 great grand sons from her oldest daughter. So far every one has their quilts (but wants another) table runners, but daughter and DIL want more, and naturally the 2 great grand sons are awaiting matching pillow cases to match their quilts. I think I may be able to finish a quilt that I want for myself.. if I'm lucky.

Yes! I know pets are very precious to their owners. :-D

My parents had six girls. In their retired years they had a dog named Sabrina, whom they always referred to our sister. It didn't sit too well with me but she did bring them a lot of pleasure and that made it ok.

Oh dear, I forgot to mention my grandfurs.... 1 horse; 6 cows; 2 bulls; 2 brand spankin' new calves; 2 dogs; 5 barn cats; 9 turkeys; 20+ chickens and my DH just discovered 2 large skunks taking up residence in our barn.. He would like to make pets out of them but that might be going a bit toooooooooooo far for me.
