I have a lot of hand made tops (flimsy) that need to be quilted. I really don't like to hand quilt and can't afford the $200.00 or more per top for a long arm quilter. I will begin to learn to quilt with my machine next week; hopefully I can learn quickly, I love doing the tops...get so excited when I start a new one.

I have heard the stories on here about UFOs. Since I just started quilting 4 years ago, I decided to try and avoid that. I finish each project before I start the next one except in very rare situations.
I have no UFOs. I finished a quilt last night, I've begun cutting a table runner today.

I envy your discipline. I just picked up my sewing after a two year hiatus with every intention of finishing 5 partially finished quilts. I've completed two, finished one top and darn if I didn't start another using scraps! I'll never finish this way. Oh., and did I tell you I've also ordered a pattern for that lovely labryinth quilt currently being shown here on the board. I

Right now, I have at least four quilts, king size plus~ Three of the four will be machine qui;ted, and one will be hand-quilted. I must get them done before Christmas -- that's the deadline I've set for myself. These are special quilts, and I really want them finished so I can gift them before Christmas.
