When I used to sell items that I painted, another seller told me to charge at least three times the cost of the materials.

I've sold hundreds, literally, at craft sales for $10.00 each. They are the ones like annrook discribes and I use only warm and natural. They are all cotton, coordinating fabrics, two inch flap to seal in the potatoes, etc.....

Mother in law is having a garage sale this weekend. maybe i will take a couple over - thinking of charging $8 for them if they don't sell oh well. christmas gifts haha! got a few other little crafty things i will sell as well as raffle tickets for our quilt guild's show in july. they are raffling off a beautiful quilt and tickets are only $1 each or $5 for six. I have a pic of the quilt so that will help!

If you put polyester batting in, and you microwave Your potato on hi heat it may catch fire. (My friend did this)
SO STICK TO ALL COTTON!

Is this the kind of bag you put potato in to microwave?

Yes, that's it! Used in the microwave these bags are said to help produce fabulous baked potatoes. My mother thinks so and so does my aunt, who makes them. I have not tried one yet. But I see them around a lot!

My question is not what they are but why I should use one. I have been baking potatoes in my microwave for 35 years and they are just fine popped in and baked. What makes the bags useful or would you say they are just for show?

I've been making and selling these bags for over 5 years and have made hundreds. I just raised my price to $8. These bags make the potato taste like it came from the oven nice and fluffy inside not gluey like a normal microwave potato. You can also steam a lot of other veggies in the bag. I have alot of repeat customers because after they try the bag, they want to get them for all their friends.
